Twitter

Twitter, a great place to share your thoughts, or as I like to think about it, a place to read peoples minds...

A picture to celebrate that I nearly have a 100 followers on twitter. Well almost, I think people are unfollowing me :(

Maleficent Tshirt design.

One of my designs that I did enter on threadless, has been chosen to be printed! Yey!

I am far too excited, but there you go, if you wish to wear one of my, frankly awesome designs, then pop over to threadless and order one. They do ship to the UK, if you were wondering. :P

Anteater

Im still doing stuff. Not very productive stuff admittedly.

Well its anteater eating ants of a plate, cant really go wrong with that really. Playing around with Quink, masking fluid and photoshop.

By the way, I have decided to try and get some moneys from my arts (well it hasn't worked so far, but Im living in hope.) by having that Society 6 website make prints of some of my old arts that are just sitting.

So yeah, I am working on an animation, got so far as finishing the storyboards, kind of. Don't like the ending... But hopefully I will actually get around to animating and finishing that.

Exciting times right?

Wild Robin

Here is an illustration that I did for my Mother, and her living room wall. And what I am going to do is go to a local fine art printer and getting it printed at a loverly A2 sized print.

What I was wondering is would anyone else want an A2 print of this if it were available?

I would estimate the price at about £50, which includes the printing costs.

Let me know here or email me at hubbardlouise@googlemail.com

Gif

My attempt at a bit of animating, but because I am lazy it is a gif instead of a full blown animation. All the elements in it drawn with ink and brush and put together in photoshop.

Now that I have nothing to do, I am doing all those things that I want to do. Its rather nice. Watch here for more random awesomeness!!!

Thats too bad.

Well the final show is a week tomorrow and getting everything sorted for that, and then into the real world.

Northern Lights

This is the first illustration of an, hopefully, ongoing project where when ever I finish reading a book, I then do an illustration for it. Thought it was a good idea, so I am going with it.

Northern Lights, written by Phillip Pullman.

The Mad Accordian

A fully illustrated book, with a lot of pages. And a lot of illustrations. I am rather proud of this, have yet to make it into a physical book though, but will put photos up when done. In the mean time, enjoy.

I like to ride my exercise Bicycle

I really don't, I avoid exercise like the plague.

Editorial illustration that did not get into the magazine, meh, I know it could of been better, but it was a good exercise.
Pun intended.

The Perfect Fit

Animation done with my lovely Friend Cat Hill for YCN brief to advertise triumphs free bra fitting survices.

We decided to take the idea of women wearing the wrong size bra and turn it on its head. Which means instead of depicting women, we used bras as characters who wear the wrong size women. We adjusted Triumph bras’ tag line from, “7 out of 10 women wear the wrong size bra - are you one of them?” to “7 out of 10 bras wear the wrong size woman - are you one of them?”.  This transfers the blame from the woman to the bra and also provides a source of amusement. The aim of which is to encourage women to get a bra fitting.

And my blog now looks beautifull.

I also figured out how to get rid of the insistent image shadows and borders. Yey!
