Doing more illustrations like this over christmas, as demanded by tutors, but Im okay with that...

An illustration for an Article "possession & the Law" which was basically about christian police officers fighting occult crime in South Africa. So nothing weird or strange about that... It was an interesting project and I did enjoy making the images for this (I got to do some lino Printing!) and I am rather pleased with the out come!

I didn't even realize that favicons are called favicons, but I have one on my blog now, just noticed you can put them on in the edit design place. Just putting them on my website as well, cause that was one thing that was annoying me about it. Well that and how my portfolio is working right now...

I'll sort that out later.

Illustration Friday: Obsession

So I have not done anything for illustration friday for a while, definitely not because I was watching japanese cartoons... When you say that instead of Anime, I think it sounds worse...

Any way, this week is obsession, so what am I obsessed about, books. And the reading of the books.

I was trying to fake lino printing using illustrator and vectorness. It doesn't look too bad, and most importantly it doesn't look like typical vector stuff you get with garish colours and generally no pretty figures...

Comic

I just decided to experiment with a comic of sorts. It turned out okay, if a bit abstract...

Just some stuff that I have found while being incredibly bored over the last month or so. I mean, not bored, productive... ?

So the one above is Ed Sheeran, who is a singer, song writer, wrapper guy. The videos okay, but the song is better.



A spoof of harry potter, Harrey Podder. Nice animation I say.

Also have you seen those new book illustrations for Harry Potter. Harry Potter signature edition I think they're called. They are so much nicer than any of the old covers. I might buy a the set of them as I seem to of destroyed all the other ones, and I think most of them belong to my sister anyway.

Also a lot of good looking films are coming out this year. Im excited for them. These next to in particular.

Illustration Friday: Stay

I was thinking that I must not do a dog for this one, so I did a ferret on a lead instead. See you get these Ferret leads, but you never see anyone going out and walking their ferret. And you wouldnt be able to teach it to stay cause its basically a kind of rat. 

Okay, so I have been on threadless again. Except this time I actually came up with a half decent idea! Or an idea at all. Well, Im quite happy with how it came out. We shall see how it fairs through the approval and then voting stages!
